Victory Is Sweet!

So 365 words today :-D Thanks in great part to the boost from Wayne Thomas Batson. It had been a long and rather tedious day and tomorrow isn't going to be fun at all at work, and I was going to be content with 100 wds before work, but then the challenge hit and I decided "Why not. . someone needs to have a lousy day besides me" and so Mynasthoa (my character) had a lousy day too. But he's a whole lot closer to having a terrible day.  So I'm happy :-D

Writing 11/12/09 I need to get this hunt/chase done! Please Lord

Jesus please, this thing is a mountain in my way, I can't see around it or get over it, and the words in me are caught up behind it. Please Lord, Living Word, make this mountain move.

All right it's 9:39 here and I'm going to write for an hour

I need to get out of this mind set that "Writing is work" when last year at this time writing was play so I looked forward to it and didn't procrastinate like I'm doing riiiight now.

No more posting, Scribe. Write.

Does anyone have any advice they want to share on keeping writing fun?

Really not feelin the words today . . .However . .goal is 500

Right, despite all the personal hairballs and glumness that has caught up with me today, the goal is 500 wds. I'm not at work and I still have  eight hours left in the day.

So there was this guy . ..

I love it when I fall asleep thinking about something plot wise that I just can't  seem to get right and then *BAM* I wake up and there's a lingering sense of the problem's been solved and when I poke around in my brain all of a sudden the solution is there!

Last night that happened. It was an OH moment, where something the protagonist does, carries much more weight than he knows. The antagonist knows that his (the protag) showing up there means that they are getting close to their(angag) goal of disrupting a communications network but now I need to somehow have the protagonist connect the dots and get to the same page that the antagonist is on.

Hmm.

Maybe I'd better take a nap. :-D
